In our reflections on the UC Expo we wrote about how we may have been taking our mobile integration too much for granted. In fact many of the people we spoke to told us about the real headaches they have from having too many separate communications systems and even when they had so called unified communications it was not integrated with mobile or even Skype for Business. It was great for us that so many visitors wanted to talk to us about how we integrate with Skype for Business and with mobile via the SIM card rather than via an app. This means that mobiles are fully integrated with our platform and with Skype for Business so it is truly ONE Cloud Based Unified Communications Platform.
In practice this is making a real difference to our customers who can focus on their core business and improve their user experience whilst we take care of their internal and external communications without substantial capex.
At Toyota Auto and Toyota Finance Finland for example Microsoft Lync was integrated with the Benemen platform in a truly unified communication solution. Now users can call and answer calls to their personal number with Lync or their mobile. Other users can see the unified availability of their coworker’s Lync client or mobile device to really know the most effective way to communicate.
