Dave Clarke writes about the opportunities for MSPS and other channel partners in selling voice services integrated with Office 365.
The launch of enterprise voice for Skype for Business (SfB) with Cloud PBX and PSTN calling by Microsoft has led many organisations to explore whether it is time to move from multiple traditional PBX and other systems to one overall system based on SfB. This makes a lot sense especially if you are already using SfB in your Unified Communications (UC) environment. As a Microsoft Gold Communications partner ourselves we have recent experience over the last couple of years of working with other partners to add voice telephony and advanced PBX functionality to Office 365 and Skype for Business for their customers.
The idea of IT and telephony convergence has been around for many years and the Benemen core team were developing modern communication solutions using current Cloud technology as early as in 1999.
Modern communication systems have often been difficult to implement in practice outside of very large enterprises so our mission at Benemen since 2008 has been to utilise our communications management expertise in one cloud based service for small and mid-sized organisations with SfB (formerly Lync) integration as standard. This means you can add our cloud voice services alongside Office 365 to replace the traditional isolated PBX, separate mobile contracts, and unified communication software with one single platform. Fully featured Call Center capability, with CRM integration and call recording, lets you configure a pool of users to provide frontline service for improved customer service. Availability Management signals how and when team members are free to be contacted, intelligent routing makes calls for the lowest cost, and you get Business Intelligence through customised reports.
With a track record of nearly 20 years in providing modern communication solutions combined with 9 years experience in adding voice to SfB we can help you to identify the best way to implement a modern solution and the pitfalls to avoid.
We are very proud to have recently been approved for the Microsoft Skype Operations Framework and are keen to talk to other Microsoft Office 365 partners to explore opportunities. We know there are big opportunities from our own experience and the fact that 86% of business customers buy through channel partners for IT products and services (IDC InfoBrief: Customers Need Channel Partners, August 2015).
Even if you have little or no experience in voice services or maybe you have had problems in the past we can help. So if you are an MSP and actively selling Office 365 and see opportunities to make a positive difference to the way that many smaller and mid sized businesses operate with modern communications then contact us via this link and Dave or Mani will be in touch.
ps There is one more thing to consider if you are an MSP and not doing much with Telecoms. At a recent MSP event in the UK one MD shared that his business was now generating 7 times as much profit per employee from modern Telecoms than from traditional IT services!
