BeneLync - Microsoft Lync combined to value added services developed by Benemen.
BeneLync is designed to work with the same principle as other Benemen services. Customer can acquire BeneLync as a service without any investments on hardware.
There’s no need to install server side software in the company’s premises while all the necessary server side components are installed in the Benemen service center with full maintenance.
BeneLync's key feature is the integration to other communication applications such as company's Call Center and CRM-solution.
Telephone traffic to the external telephone networks can be routed through the mobile switching center (MSC). Integration to MSC enables BeneLync user to make in/outbound calls using existing mobile phone number. Calling is far less expensive because landline telephone charges don’t have to be paid. The solution also enables the usage of 010-, 020- etc numbers parallel or instead of existing mobile phone numbers.
Intelligent call routing and least cost routing brings cost efficiency for example when calling international calls. Utilization of VoIP calls also in internal network is cost efficient and effective; internal calls when using BeneLync are free of charge.
BeneLync features
BeneLync is a combination of Microsoft Lync 2010 and value added services designed by Benemen.
Functionalities:
- Voice features, audio features, video features, real time presence information to other users.
- Multi-party collaboration features.
- Conferences. With BeneLync it’s easy to start audio and video conferences and inform others to join from all over the world -cost effectively.
- Presence of the other users is always available. Simply looking at the presence icon in front of the user’s name it’s easy to determine which way to communicate and collaborate.
- Desktop sharing. Share your desktop with other users to show e.g. a PP-presentation or functionalities of certain application.
- Internal calls using BeneLync are free of charge.
- One number principle. User can choose if calls are routed to mobile phone or BeneLync.
